Coleman Road Trip Grill: This is the best B-B-Que we ever had. Portable propane grill Perfect for at home use, picnicking, and camping. It collapses for easy transport. Sets up in seconds with its own stand. Swap-top cooktops allow you to switch grill grates out for griddle and stove grates. Insta-start button ignites grill without the need for a match or lighter. Click here for more info.
Collapsible, lightweight pots: Yup, I said collapsible, that can be used for travel/camping on your burner (not an open fire flame). No more lugging those heavy pots around. Great to use with the Coleman Road Trip Grill. Click here for more info.
Traveling Coffee Filter: Last time we went camping we had the task of making coffee..forgot the grinder so that was a challenge. This package comes with a mini-grinder, spoon and filter. There is also a cheaper version below if you don’t need the grinder. Click here for more info.
Collapsable Coffee Filter. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money and need a grinder, these collapsable filters are very affordable, better than paper filters. Click here for more info.

LLBean Ultraplush Camp Futon. This is the ultimate mattress pad with plush fleece on top and a 3″ mattress below. Rolls up super easy and secures with straps. We tried 5 mattress pads to get the right one and you won’t go wrong with this one! Click here for more info.

LLBean Camp Futon. Of all the mattress we tried, this one by LLBean is a good quality mattress and a close 2nd choice. It is a bit firmer than the Nemo, easy self inflate, however but it rolls up bigger almost double in size. But one of the better mattresses. Click here for more info.

Aerial Mat/Hammock/Bed: A floating fitness mat, hammock, bed, or sunshade-this is the best! It can fit 3 adults or 5 kids. All you need is three points (trees, poles, or columns) to mount the aerial mat.

Atak 315 Lumen Rechargeable Lantern: This rechargeable lantern is so worth getting! It can be charged by the solar strip or the USB and a micro USA port(also comes with a cord and 2 batteries). Approximate 4 hr run time. They also make a rechargeable flashlight (see below). Click here for more info.

Atak Rechargeable Flashlight. I a so over having a battery flashlight-never fails when you need it, you don’t have the right battery. This one has a high and low beam and runs for hours. Must have item! Click here for more info.

Fly Fishing: Are you a fly fishing enthusiast? My husband took it up on our Montana-Wyoming Road trip and he is hooked. Check this Platte River Fly Shop that has everything you need!

Looking for fly fishing equipment? Orvis has a great selection of various reels, flies and clothing. Check it out here.

A vest under any coat is a required stable to help block out wind and cold. Some jackets have a built in liner but the problem is you can’t use it separately. NORTH FACE has great vests that are small enough to go under jackets or be worn on their own. This one is really great with zipper pockets to protect you phone. They also have reversible ones, but that is a favorite everyday one I wear no matter what state we are in summer nights around the campfire, fall walks or winter snow storms.

Another great vest, but more of a dressy look and still keeps you warm is the Wyoming Traders vest. Made from wool, some are a bit fitted, so size up if you like a looser fit. I got mine in downtown historical Sheridan, Wyoming at Brian’s Boot Store which carries a great selection of well known names of boots and Wyoming Traders.

Love LLBean clothing line! Good quality and reasonably priced. Not to mention great customer service – their return policy – 1 YEAR! Below are a few of my favorite picks:
LL Bean Storm Chasers: Fantastic shoe with a slip on feature – great for trips, camping, hikes, rainy days, outdoor work, quick trips to the store. So comfortable! There is a men’s version too. Click here for more info.
LL Bean Sherpa Lined Utility Jacket: So this is my favorite all-time purchase. I was looking for a medium jacket which could fit a sweater if needed, be used for small hikes, car travel, or be able to dress up with a nice shirt. Every time I wear it, I get a compliment.
LLBean Fleece Lined Flannel Shirts for both men and women. They are great for travel for chilly mornings on the go. You can layer with a shirt (and their pocket tees are so affordable and quality. Great for hiking or kicking around the house too.

Boggs Footwear are must have footwear for protection from rain, snow and anything Mother Nature throws at you!

These Boggs Savie Chesea boots have been the best! I use them for everything in spring, summer or fall – walking, hiking, gardening, traveling and to the store. They have fantastic traction and slip-on so easily. They take a lot of abuse, and keep come back looking new with just a soak in the sink as they are 100% waterproof. Definitely need these in your closet!

These mens Boggs Tillamook Bay waterproof slip ons boots are the best! You can wear them all seasons, even in winter, they are better traction than snow boots. This could definitely be an all around boot for all seasons, for everything. My husband bought them for himself, but I kept stealing them in the winter and he was upset, so I bought my own 2 sizes smaller in the mens. They don’t make them for women but they really should brand them unisex.

Another great travel/camping/hiking clothing line is Orvis. Excellent quality stuff, but not as great customer service as LL Bean. And they make the best dog beds on the market, hands down that last the life of the pet.
Montana Soft Brimmed Hat. This is the best hat I have ever found – wear it almost everywhere! Great for hiking and keep the sun out of your face. Also a great travel hat because it folds and bounces back.
Orvis Memory Foam Dog Bed. We got this bed for yellow Labrador. Great bed, holds up, easy to wash. You can easily throw it in a travel van, SUV or truck so your buddy has his bed away from home which is super important while traveling. It’s more expensive than most dog beds, but there is a reason. Holds up and it has a solid support memory foam pad. They have many choices, but this is the one we use.

We travel with our yellow labrador, so it is always a challenge to find a place to stay that allows pets. Some hotels have weight restrictions (like only 40 lbs are allowed) or they have such high pet fees. Best Western hotels are a reasonable hotel, allow pets and many offer a free breakfast. Sometimes when we stay longer on a trip than a couple days, we like to cook and stay in. This is when I look for a home on Airbnb where we can cook in, relax and stay in . Also many of the places accept pets as well if you travel with your pet like we do. Click the logo to search.

Similar to Airbnb, VRBO also offers homes where you can book online. Click the log to search for a home to rent.

Whenever we fly and need a car, we always us Expedia. They always compare most the airlines and rental cars, and you can even book a hotel if you need to as well. Once in France while traveling on a artist paint trip, I had an issue with the airline and their customer service department was a great help. Click the logo to search for your next trip.
